For those that don’t know, NTS is the National Traffic System. Once a month (every 2nd Thursday. of every month, 7:PM local time) the Colorado Section holds an HF only net on 28.475 and 3.989 to stay in practice handling traffic in and out of the state, on HF, in the event of an emergency. The traffic we handle are Radiograms, and the role we play is to get information in and out of an affected area.
On November 11 at 7:PM just before the GV10 net I will be assisting net control and taking check-ins on 28.475 for the Colorado Section Traffic Net and if 10 meters is not open, relaying the information to net control on 3.989. We are using 10 meters to include the Tech Class operators. You do not have to handle traffic, just check-in. I would appreciate your check-in.
