N2KNK – WestCO Repeater System

The WestCO Repeater System links ten analog repeaters to cover wide areas of the Western Slope plus Moab, UT.  Because all of the repeaters are linked via radio, the system is immune to internet outages making it a valuable resource for regional Emergency Communications. The WestCO system is open to all licensed Amateur Radio operators.

To print the frequencies list, right-click on the list and click “open image in new tab”.   In that tab, click on the 3 dots in the upper-right corner of your browser and select ‘Print’ from the dropdown menu.

Please email K0DZ@arrl.net for additions and corrections.

Note that the WestCO Willow, Uranium, and W Mountain repeaters are located so distant from one another that they successfully use the same Frequency and Tone.  You can create a single channel in your radio or put in all three separately.  If you enter three separate channels, just note that as you travel to different coverage areas your radio may indicate that you’re on one repeater when you’re actually on a closer one.

*** Reach WestCo via AllStar, connect to AllStar node 41304

*** To Reach WestCo via DMR, connect to Brandmeister Talk Group 310861

Many thanks to Keri, N2KNK for building and maintaining the WestCO system.
